About
Animal Medical & Laser Surgical Center is a full service small animal Veterinary Hospital. We offer in-house lab services, wellness exams, vaccinations, radiology, pet boarding, grooming, as well as laser therapy and laser surgery.
How we got here....
Growing up on a farm in rural Garrard County, Dr. Grubbs began his dedication to veterinary medicine at a young age. After graduating from Morehead State University he attended Auburn University in Alabama where he completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1979.
Dr. Grubbs opened the Animal Medical Center in 1994. Since then we have treated over 26,000 patients.
In 2010, Dr. Miranda Rankin joined our staff.
Dr. Rankin began her veterinary experience at the age of 12 working in a small animal clinic in Northern Kentucky. She also attended Morehead State University and went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Texas A&M. Dr. Rankin lives in Lincoln County with her husband Josh and two children.
